Anyone know tips for the recovering ASAP from a C?

Had an emergency C. Need to get done to see my son tmrw in another city. 
Need to be able to move on my own. Also why does it hurt so bad after a C section ? 
Hurts to breath, pee, walk, lay in bed, cough ( coughing is the worst, I bleed every cough) 
Pain meds is norco.

I used a rolled up blanket and ice pack to put pressure on my stomach everytime I walked or sat up, etc. Honestly just keep moving, but do things at your own pace.. and remember to rest when you can! 
I'm going on week 5 now after Csection and I'm able to get up and move etc, but I know there are some movements my body just can't do.. my c section wasn't planned and I had been dying to have my body back after pregnancy.. this was definitely not the way I planned to have it back.. it's like it's still not mine. Hang in there and just slowly let yourself heal!

Emergency csection are much more painful cause they're usually not as gentle. Just remember that you're healing and don't do anything that is too painful. The first week, honestly get up and move around. But don't do anything that puts strain on your stomach. No laundry, no dishes, nothing but simple stuff like making bottles and things that don't take too much effort. But keep walking. I would just carry my baby around with me to keep me up and moving, but not doing anything. That'll help the most. If you lay around too much, it seems to take longer. I learned that the second time around.

C sections take time. I'm sorry. I had an emergency one with my first. And was so painful it took many weeks to move without pain. The first week I could barely stand up. I remember laying on my side crying because my baby was crying and I couldnt get up. It sucked so bad....have someone help!
Major abdominal surgery is no joke. Please be careful and kind to yourself. For some a belly binder will help, it just made me more painful. It will heal. Someone women much faster than others. But I think the emergency once are often harder on the body anyways as it's under extra stress. I felt like myself again about a year after.

Unfortunately there’s no way to completely recovery super quickly with a c section, it will take a few weeks to feel fairly normal again. But something that helped a TON was a belly support band . It helps to give you that extra abdominal support and help just keep everything from feeling like it’s gonna fall out or rip open.
