I am 30 and he’s 31 
He was with his high school sweetheart for 12 years he proposed when they were 24 ish? She was focussed on her education and he worked...... she never planned a wedding for them because she wanted to finish school and start a career....... as time passed he wanted children and she wanted to put it off for her goals (nothing wrong with that new) but he wanted to start a family..... 
By 28 they had become completely different people with completely different life goals and views on parenting and family etc. They had nothing in common anymore at all
I’ve met her and she’s lovely but she’s totally nothing like him.

I was with my partner when I was 16, he proposed when I was 23 and we were married at 24. Honestly there’s no rush and you’re both so young. Weddings are very expensive and stressful to plan. Enjoy your time together! It’ll come one day 😊

Im 22 and engaged and we've know each other since i was 17 but i honestly Dont think its a matter of age. It also depends on where you both are in your lives. Maybe he's just not ready for that yet. If it seems to be a big concern for you sit down and talk to him about a plan for your guys future. That was the mature way my partner and I decided we wanted to be married, get our own place to take care of my mom and start a family. Don't stress too much over it.
