This is my last year of highschool and I’ve dreamt of going to prom since I was in the 5th grade. I just want to dress up and feel good about myself, it’s a once in a lifetime thing. The problem is my boyfriend doesn’t want to go to prom at all. He hates dances and he didn’t take me to his prom last year. He said that we can just go straight down the shore and he doesn’t want me going with any other guy (understandably). I just feel like since it’s a once in a lifetime thing that if I don’t go I’ll regret it for the rest of my life. And no matter what I say or do I cannot convince my boyfriend to go with me.
