Mother of 2?

Question

I’ll be a mother of two by March 2nd . She will be here in 20 days . I’m totally freaking out , not because I didn’t want another baby , but because I’m just so scared on knowing how will I handle it , I have my husband with me , and he is taking off 3 weeks but the question is? Is it really that hard? Am I going to pull my own hair out?
Any advice!!
I’m wanting to get them on a schedule, so they both get EQUALLY attention.

Same. My son is 2.5 and my husband can only take one week off work. I’m soooo nervous. We have a boy baby doll for my son that we refer to as his baby brother and he absolutely hates that thing with ever fibre of his being and the anxious mom in me can’t help but panic he’ll feel this way about the actual baby. How do I keep two humans alive? How do I keep the older human alive, fed, entertained AND happy?! I’m a SAHM.

My first 2 are 19 months apart and it actually wasn’t that big of deal. The important part is to include your oldest with the youngest. My brother and I are 2.5 yrs apart and he hated me because my parents gave me more attention or
He got in trouble when he touched me or my things. So he became resentful towards me. So with my kids I try to have them help me with the new baby. It’s ok if they play with the babies toys and ok if they touch baby as long as it’s gentle touching. But other than that it’s a little more difficult to make sure you have what you need to get out of the house and what not but not to bad. Only thing my 2 yr old son did after baby number 3 for here was get into everything when I sat down to nurse. It’s like he know I couldn’t do much or wasn’t paying attention because I was nursing the baby. Drove me crazy 😆 but he is a handful still at 5.

girl my SO cant take but some vacation time so be happy youll have some help lol im counting on my first going to daycare everyday to be my semi break . lol

This is my 3rd baby, due March 7th. I have a daughter who turned 3 on Dec 1 and a son who turned 1 on Oct 17. I had the same fears about how in the world do I take care of 2 little ones. I'm not gonna lie, it is hard, tiring and some days u just don't know how u get it done BUT u do. My biggest piece of advice is to ALWAYS tell ur partner/support system what u need. Keeping it inside will only hurt everyone...good luck mommas!!!

I would suggest daycare for the 2 year old let your husband drop him off an pick him up that way you can attend to the baby an rest up

I have the same fear! My first child just turned 8 in December, and the birth of my baby girl is 27 days away. 
I almost feel guilty for my son because I’ve totally up-ended his world. He’s been an only child his entire life. He has my family and his bio father’s family, whose time totally revolves around him. 
He’s such a good natured and sweet boy, he’s excited about his baby sister and talks about her all the time. So I highly doubt he’s going to be as traumatized as I’m making it out in my head, but I still worry.

My son is also 2 and I'm super nervous about sharing time. My husband wont be able to take more than a a couple days off  so I'm a little panicked.
