When did you

If you were still living under your parents roof and found out you were pregnant. When did you move out into your own space ? Did you wait until the baby got here or you found a spot before the baby got here ?

Answer

I was living with my grandmother, we were meant to move out the month I actually got pregnant but that fell through, then the next place fell through. Basically we kept losing properties until I was like 8 months pregnant and I managed to secure social housing out of desperation. We then had to decorate the entire thing in the month I had before I gave birth (unlike private rent it was literally bare walls and tile flooring/cement, we had to put in carpets and everything). So that was a pretty stressful month, we actually hadn't had the sofa delivered yet when I gave birth and we had to use camping chairs 😂

Um I found out aug 2019, currently 7 months & I still live with my mom ONLY because my mother is sick and disabled and needs me. She is planning on moving in with my other sister though since I’ll be a new mom. So within 6mos I’ll have my own place with my S/O and son. Everyone’s situation is different though.

I was married and living in a big room in my parents basement. I got married in Feb, pregnant right away, stayed there until my baby was almost 1 1/2 yrs old (so 2 yrs from the time I was married).
