When do they put in the implant ?

I have a consultation about the implant on Thursday, and I wonder how soon can they get it implanted ? I am currently on my period.

It depends on the doctor & if they have the implants in stock at the time of ur appointment. If they do, and ur doctor is well aware that’s what u want to get, then they may insert it that same day. 
When I called about getting it for the first time (I’m on my second implant), the receptionist told me I would need to have a consultation first then another appointment for insertion... however, my doctor was already aware that that’s the method I wanted to try & when I got there he said he could do it that same day.

Before i got the implant in my arm I had a birth control consultation and than the appointment after that was when i got it put it. After i got it taken out a year later i started the pill the same day.
