Im struggling so bad with IMFs. I’ve attempted this three times and still got it wrong

Straight chained alkanes have a higher boiling point than branched chain alkanes. They have more surface area. I don’t know how far you are into intermolecular forces but that’s kind of a basic explanation on it. I absolutely hate chem but I have to get through the second half of ochem and then biochem so this stuff I do know, hope that helps!

My husband says the exact order OB the screen is highest(left) top lowest (right). If not then switch the first 2. 🤷‍♀️

I’m in the same boat🙄 I have a chem test next week and I’m still a bit lost, I use google when I’m unsure but I look for something with an explanation so I know for next time!

Google is your friend lol!  Been too long since I did this!  But my chemistry professor kept my lab book as an example for her future classes.  My grades always had to be written in because they were above the highest marks the system allowed...yet I barely remember a thing lol.  #MomBrain!!!

I’m horrible with Chemistry but good with elimination methods. Are those the options for answers at the bottom? If so and you’ve already tried 3/4 then the one you didn’t try just might be the answer. 🤷🏼‍♀️
