My baby is a month old and dr said not to go into crowded places until 8 weeks. So I’m at my church setting up for the kids Valentine’s Day party yesterday. I figured it’d be ok because it was just me, my grandma (there for holding the baby purposes 😂) one of the teachers in our children’s program and her husband. Well I hand my baby to my grandma (after she goes and washes her hands) and this guy comes over and touches his face right beside his mouth before I can even realize what’s happening and say something. Later on when I left the youth center to get something out of the main church he comes over to him again and my grandma just nicely asks him if he has washed his hands yet. Then his wife gets onto him about it being cold and flu season. After that he kept his distance from the baby all together.

But he touched his face! And I’m freaking out. I’m so afraid he’s going to get sick. His daddy just had a cold and we did everything we could to keep him from getting it too (minus kicking my husband out of the house which I seriously contemplated😂).

I called my mom and just started crying and she told me to relax because I have a good immune system and hardly get sick I’m probably passing my immunity through breast milk. But I’m still so afraid. He’s too young for the flu shot and he’s so little idk what’ll happen if he gets sick 😭
