When do kids start giving kisses?

My son is 10 months old and this morning we were snuggling in bed. He sat up, smiled at me then pressed his drooly little mouth on cheek, kept it there for about a second then smiled at me all huge again.
Was this a kiss?! 
Can I just act like it was?! 😍😍😍

It is . That’s how all 3 of mine initially kissed . My one year old opens his whole mouth and puts it on your mouth 😂 slobber kisses for sure. But just becarefull bc that can also be the entrance to the biting phase. Some times my son will look like he is gonna kiss you then bite the shit it of you instead 😑

I think that’s what that was. My 5 month old has started doing this in the last couple of days. When I kiss his cheek, he turns his head and puts his mouth on my cheek. It’s the sweetest thing. I love it, even though my whole face is covered in slobber. It’s still so sweet ❤️❤️❤️

That was the sweetest kiss!!!!! I love those kisses!! My daughter gives little kisses sometimes and other times she grabs our faces, opens her mouth wide, and slimes is up for a good long time. They are messy and slimy but the absolute sweetest thing

Yes that was a kiss! My son would do that open mouth face press thing for a while until he started saying mmmmmmwha when he kisses which makes you pucker and that was at like idk 15 monthsishhh
