I live in an apartment complex. I don’t know the people above me, have only seen them outside a few times.

Many times over the last few months I will hear them screaming at each other and furniture being thrown around. It’s scary and sounds like it’s going to come through the floor. It’s so loud that my 10 month old will get scared and cry.

I don’t want to assume anything because I do not actually know what is going on when this happens, but it sounds like the man is chasing the woman around and when she screams she sounds scared.

I just don’t know what to do.

I don’t want this to continue.. I don’t like the fact that it’s scaring my daughter and a lot times it wakes her up from a nap or in the middle of the night. I also don’t want to create bad blood with the people that I will be living under until my lease is up. I also don’t want to just make assumptions on what is actually going on up there.

Next time this is happening, should I call the police? Should I contact the manager of the apartment complex?
