Labor coming?

How long did you have period-like cramping before progressing to contractions? I’ve had full back pain and cramping for 2 days and it’s gets worse when I pee. Is labor coming soon? I’m 36 weeks...

I’ve had period like cramps since 36 weeks, I’m 39 weeks now, so it’s not always a sign of anything. For me it hasn’t progressed or dilated me or anything.

Mine lasted for maybe an hour or 2 but my water had spontaneously broken already.

I had then before contractions but they can be normal later on pregnancy too, so not a sure sign.
