I went to the doctor and they said it was geographical tongue, but I don’t believe it is. I have had this for 5 days and it is SO painful to talk, swallow, and I can barley eat anything because it scraps it as I swallow it and chew it. I want to cry it is so painful and geographical tongue shouldn’t be painful as my doctor and others have described. It should also be smooth and not bumpy like mine is. It is in two places. I can’t see the other as it is way back on my tongue. Please help! I have been doing salt water rinses three times daily. You can see it progressing and getting worse from day one till now. Im 35+5 days
