Anything I can do to dilate my cervix?

Sadly, no. But you can do squats and lots of walking just because it’s good for you, and -maybe- labor will come along with it. I don’t personally know if sex works because I was too massive and uncomfortable to even think about it. I desperately wanted to experience going into labor without being medically induced, so I tried lots of walking/squats and it didn’t happen for me so I’m convinced time is all we can rely on. Doesn’t hurt to exercise or try sex, though! Seems like more people have luck with those than anything else, but it could honestly just be coincidental.

You can try a list of things and hope it works but you need time honestly. I had sex until I had my first son and never dilated past 1cm was induced at 41 weeks. Same thing with my second son sex until the end the only difference was work I was a lot more active with work walking more. Idk if from being so active helped but I was 4cm when I went into my induction at 41 weeks.

I have seen several women say they were told that sex softens the cervix. Obviously make sure it is okay for you to do that.
