What CD do you start taking OPKs?

Question

The day of your period starting being CD1 when do you start taking OPKs to determine the next peak? My doctor recommended I wait till CD14 but I just wanted to know what day you ladies start OPKs.
CD7? So straight after AF finishes
CD14? A week after AF
Or any other?

I just got the big cheap pack of like 50 opk strips and tested 2-3 times per day starting at 7 or 8 dpo so I knew exactly when my surge came without a doubt. Glad I did too cause last month ovulated early! BD literally only on ovulation day and I am now 5+5 weeks

I start around day 10. Once my line gets darker I test every 12 hours until my surge. I haven’t missed a surge doing it that way.

My doctor recommended starting on CD 10. This past month I ovulated on cycle day 12. So you don't want to miss it!
