My fiancé and I let both families know that no one will be allowed in the deliver room or to visit us in the hospital until the second day. Well people had some awful ass rude things to say and a bunch of eye rolls. But this is our first and we won’t to bond with baby alone for the first day. But my fucking goodness why can’t they understand. His family is saying I’m this and I’m that and I’m like wow ok. His grandma is also upset that we didn’t give the baby her first name as a middle name 🙄. But we both honestly just don’t won’t a thousand hands reaching for the little princess when she is first here we won’t her to spend that first day with daddy and me. No one gets it. Are we being unreasonable and over protective? Regardless to the negative opinions of family we are sticking to our decision. Did anyone else not allow visits on first day in hospital?
