Second Csection or Vaginal?

Did you prefer your csection or your vaginal birth? My first one was a csection due to the baby being breeched, so I had no choice.. but if I get pregnant again I wanna talk about VBAC with my doctor, instead of just scheduling a csection without knowing if I have the option or not. So if you could do VBAC all over again would you, or would you just schedule the csection?

Experience with both. I will ALWAYS choose vaginal over C-section. The recovery is easier and with an older child to take care of, not having a major surgery incision in your abdomen makes it easier!

I’m currently pregnant with number 2, and I had an emergency c section the first time. I’m really hoping for a VBAC this time around because I want to be up and moving more with my older child.

My second was a c section and although mine was a twin pregnancy (one of my babies had died just before delivery) although I was all over the place mentally, all I remember from that time was the recovery pain and being restricted like with driving, picking my older daughter up. I would personally always opt for vaginal and will be praying I am a candidate for this pregnancy.

My first was breach too. Second I had an elective c-section. I wasn’t comfortable with the risks of a vbac, and my recovery for my first was fine
