Just an old wives tale so there's no truth to it; both of my boys have/had (pregnant with #2 right now) heart rates at least 150 the whole time. This boy went down to 140 for 2 appointments and has been back up to 155 since.

Just an old wives tale, my son’s heartbeat was always above 140. And from that wives tale boys are 140 and under.
The only way to know the gender is at your 20 week ultrasound or if you get the maternit21 blood work. My mom and I were pregnant at the same time and she was having a girl and I am having a boy. She craved salty and I crave sweet. And with the sweet and salty wives tale it was suppose to be: girls=sweet, Boys=salty.

Both my girls were between 145-150 something and both my boys were high 160-170 so I wouldn't really trust the wives tails
