How often should you get your levels tested for hypothyroidism during pregnancy?

For those of you that are hypothyroid, how often should you get your levels tested during pregnancy? I got mine done before 4 weeks but there was no mention of testing every so often. I know you can fluctuate a lot while pregnant. I am currently on medication and my results were normal the last draw

I think they check mine whenever they do blood work. They upped my meds as soon as I found out I was pregnant. My levels were on the low side of normal and they wanted them higher for the baby.

Mine has been really stable for years, so this pregnancy I've been tested I think 3x, maybe 4. I recall being tested more often (maybe every 6 weeks or so) in my first pregnancy, but it never changed. I think it depends on many factors.

I am getting tested every 4 weeks. But I have subclinical hypothyroidism, and I know with that it can fluctuate a lot more then if you've had full blown hypothyroidism for years and have stable levels 
Are you seeing an endocrinologist or if your obgyn just taking care of it? I am seeing an endorsement for the thyroid stuff, they are more proactive. 
But try not to worry too much, if your levels stay around 4 or below it's really no real difference then the optimal levels, according to research. Even below 10 theres nothing proven to show adverse effects. Obviously of course the goal is the optimal levels if possible

I’m tested monthly, my midwife told me because my levels have never been ok I need to take 25% more levothyroxine than not being pregnant.
