Was so excited to announce my first pregnancy this week (12 weeks tomorrow) but then this Monday I had a large bleed and went to hospital. Had to beg to get someone to scan me to check if there was still a heartbeat. They found a first year student who was able to operate sonogram machine luckily, and I got some reassurance. 162bpm.

Asked around a few friends, and got different stories of bleeds either leading to miscarriage or being just fine. Trying to stay positive.

Either way, lost my confidence to announce to the world. Maybe will revisit at 15 weeks.

Anyone else had bleeding in their past pregnancies and it’s been okay? Hit me with your happy stories so I can believe that maybe this might work out.
