I have my hospital appointment Monday morning with the early pregnancy unit, I’m having another scan but I’m also being checked to see if I need the heparin injections.

I found out I have factor five Leiden about 11 years ago so I’m already taking aspirin daily as advised and this was the earliest they could fit me in to see if I’m a high enough risk for the heparin. I’ll be 7 weeks then and I’ve had one previous miscarriage. My dads has had few DVTs I the past so I think it’s likely I’ll be put on them.

Anyone got any advice or success stories? Everything is perfect at the moment, baby had a heartbeat and had a yolk sac ❤️ just need to be brave!!
