I'm looking at doing the keto diet to lose as much weight as I can before a wedding. 
It's in 4 months 
Will it work for me?

Yes! I lost 48lbs so far. Started on Jan 28th. Clean keto & Intermittent will help out tremendously. Also, I suggest eating 25% more protein after you fast for a long period of time. And make sure you do not overdue your fat take in! :) goodluck!

If you do it correctly... eat within 1200-1500 calories... and your fat to protien macros will matter on your activity level.. but it should work by burning fat you have stored..
