How long can a blazing positive LH surge last?

I’m starting to wonder if it’s real. I got my first obviously positive opk for the first time in about a year last night around 7/8pm. I took another one this morning that looked positive but not as strong and just took another one at 2pm that’s BLAZING positive. How could this still be possible? When am I going to ovulate? Could it be a false positive from my metformin? I also have PCOS.
