Anyone get waxed?

I had a Brazilian like 10 years ago and I wasn’t very fond of it. I do believe it was bc of the location and specific person I chose. Tomorrow I’ve booked a full Brazilian bc well I just can’t reach anymore and feel ewwww. I’m praying it’ll be a better experience! Is it even safe during pregnancy? I was shy to talk to my dr about that.

Totally safe! I get them every 5-6 weeks. I asked the doctor at my last appointment if it was safe to continue to get them done since I’d only need one more before my due date, and she said that’s perfectly fine!

Alright ladies ! I went... it was hard wax & it did hurt like hell. I wasn’t expecting it to be peaceful but the part that did kind of confuse me is that the wax was SO HOT like I was shaking from how hot it was and didn’t think that was normal. I like hot hell showers and everything hot so I am not a person who prefers things cold but damn that was hot! I told her it was way to hot and she told me that it’s “normal” and she didn’t turn the wax hotter? But I don’t she understood what I was trying to say. also, wax in pot was like bunched up so it was either old like kept getting reheated or she over heated or was in a rush to heat it. 🤷🏻‍♀️ idk I was flinching really bad and probably could have kicked her in the face lmao 😬

I've been going regularly. It's a bit more sensitive right now but I still highly recommend it. Makes me feel much better.

It’s safe. It will probably hurt more since you haven’t been doing it and you are pregnant. But the first one is the worst. Will be better after that.

I do it before and during pregnancies. I do tend to opt out of backside since I can do myself and don’t want the discomfort when preggo.

It’s safe. But yes it will be more painful since you have not gotten it done in quite some time and also our skin is more sensitive at this time.

It's safe but it's going to hurt way worse because of all the extra blood flow and you may be swollen after.

Hope you’re going somewhere with hard wax and not strip wax! Hard wax is much easier on the skin.
