It’s officially been a year..

It’s officially been a year since I found out about you. I was shaking in that bathroom stall at target. You weren’t planned we had agreed to just one. Now we were looking at 2 under 2. I was scared, I was in disbelief and couldn’t wrap my head around it. I told your dad that night and he was so excited. The next day I called and made an appointment. We finally got to see you at 8 weeks. That’s when everything became real. 5 weeks later we found out you were a GIRL! I was not expecting that. I always thought I’d be a boy mom but here I am with 2 little girls. Halfway through my pregnancy me and your dad hit a rough patch. I moved away to be with family and he stayed. I kept him updated as much as a could. I would send him pictures of you too. I was scheduled to be induced at the end of October and your dad had made plans to be there. You on the other hand had different plans. You came 2 weeks early. We were able to FaceTime while he was at the airport catching a last minute flight. You were born on October 13th at 4:38am. You were 7 lbs 6 oz and 19 1/2 inches long. You were perfect.

You are 4 months old now and the sweetest baby anyone could ask for. I love watching your personality grow everyday. Me and your dad have worked things out and we move back next month. You completed our family. You made us realize we had something worth fighting for. I never knew how much I needed you. The last year hasn’t been easy but I would do it again 1,000 times just to have you. I love you Blake Alexandria Leigh💕
