How many naps?

My LO just turned 9 months on Saturday. We’ve been having a little bit of a struggle with naps. On average they last 45 minutes. Sometimes an hour to an hour and a half. We had his well check today and his ped suggested trying to drop the morning nap since he sleeps 12-13 hours a night and that may help him get a longer stretch of sleep during the day. Are any May babes on 1 nap a day? He missed his morning nap today bc of his appointment and he napped just shy of 2 hours when I put him down for his afternoon nap, so I’m wondering if that will be a regular thing if we stop the morning one.

My daughter gets 1 nap in a day....around 11am since she wakes up fully at 6am smh. She is a horrible sleeper ever since birth. No matter what we try. Always the same out come. She is our 3rd and never had this issue. Sucks. She wakes every hour at night starting at 11pm. She goes down at 10pm. Eats a 4 ounce bottle to settle her back to bed. Trier everything else to get her back to sleep other than food and no luck. I get on average 3 hours of full sleep a night. Fml right. Nothing helps. She seems happy and content this way. I was always told 1 naps was 13+ months. That’s what’s most of my friends had done. But every baby is different. My daughter is horrible if she’s awake any longer then 3.5-4 hours. At the end of each month I try stretching her an extra 30 but don’t push it

My daughter has always taken short naps and I tried dropping to one nap, but she was miserably tired in the morning, so I decided she was better off with 2 short naps than 1 long nap. First nap is 30 min to an hour second nap is rarely longer than 30 minutes.
