I’m a little mortified. My LO was crawling around minding his business and my dog apparently went into heat because she hopped on his back holding tight. I yelled at her to get off. A funny sight but I feel super bad for my baby 😂😂
My dog is my baby’s size ...

agreed about the dominance thing. Dogs notice a new thing is taking their humans attention and they want to make sure your baby knows whose in charge. My dog also has some herding instinct and when he feels like things are out of control he mounts it. Definitely something to train the dog not to do, but I don't think it's a heat issue.

My dog tried to do that too. (She’s also a small dog) My dog is spayed though so I think it was a dominance thing for her so I put a stop to that real quick. I don’t want her thinking she’s the pack leader over him. She hasn’t done it since I told her no.
