Lighthearted

Yesterday we took my 3 year old son out to the park and to go shopping. He fell twice yesterday once at the park where he got a little scraped up, his elbow and knees, playing catch with his daddy. The second time he fell, he fell against the cart in walmart in the busy self checkout line. He was mostly embarassed.

At bed time we all crawled in the bed. My hips were hurting and

he said, "Oh, mommy whats wrong?"

I told him, " Mommy hips hurt."

He said, "Oh, big boy hurt."

I said, "Im sorry big boy. Is it your elbow from falling?"

He paused for a second, "...elbow hurt...daddy pushed me.."

Immediately his daddy said, "I DID NOT PUSH YOU!"

I LAUGHED FOR 5 MINUTES STRAIGHT. A straight up giggle fit. My son kept telling me to stop and I seriously could not. I was snorting laughing, hoohooing.. I seriously couldnt contain myself. I havent laughed that hard in a very long time. Kids can be so funny.
