GD turned Diabetes
I am 6w PP with my second I had Gd with both of my pregnancies.
Fast forward to now. I have been checking my blood sugars on and off and at first my fastings were around 70-85 and now they ar e 100-106 which is considered high from what I was told. Or maybe it’s just borderline.
Anyways so what I’m getting at is what recommendation do y’all have to lower my risk of full blow diabetes. I am going to start up on more walking and try to add some other cardio. I’m gonna wait a few weeks before I add weights being im post surgery and I’m afraid of hurting myself if I do too much.
I’ve heard that weight loss is a big thing that can help with getting rid of type 2 diabetes or at least lower the chances of it.
I’m just freaking out.
Any advice will help thanks.
Plus with breastfeeding I get hungry a lot as well.
