Anyone’s child have macrocephaly?

Our little guys noggin is huge. Nothing abnormal shows up, but he does have macrocephaly with mild ventriculomegaly 🤷🏼‍♀️ always measured in 98 percentile of head...genetics are not for him, as i had a huge head. And so does grandpa and grandma

My almost 3.5 year old has always been in the 97-99 percentile for head circumference.  Her weight is around the 40th percentile and she recently shot up but was about 50th percentile for height for a long time.  All that to say she’s very averaged sized except she has a large head.  She’s truly one of the smartest 3.5 year olds I know.  Her memory is INSANE. And I’m not just saying that cause I’m her mom, I’ve been told several times by her pre-school teachers that she’s extremely bright.  Big heads sometimes just mean big brains!

Is the rest of your baby also 90s percentiles? Are there any other symptoms besides large head?
Just curious....
No doc has ever mentioned it to us. Our boys head has also always been between 92-99 percentile. But his height and weight are also in that same range. So he’s proportionally large for his age. We are already in 2T clothing and he’s not 1 for another 3 weeks. So any thing that clued you in besides the head measurements?
Hope all goes well for you guys medically. I know nothing of the conditions you listed so I really hope baby is healthy and happy!

Recently at the Dr the nurse measuring my girls head muttered something about her head being in the 97th percentile but then never brought it up again and my Dr didn't mention anything so I assume she's fine
