Safe to freeze still ?

I have breast milk from 2/16 that I didn’t use or freeze. Normally I freeze same day if I know it will not be used within 2 days. My daughter has the flu so she didn’t go to daycare (only take she takes a bottle). Anyways I am not sure if it is ok to still freeze this? Or am I past the window and should I keep it for milk baths or something instead? Thanks.

It should be fine to freeze. Typically breast milk in a refrigerator is good for 5 days.

Use or freeze within 4 days of refrigerating.

The most conservative rule (but the easiest to remember) I've heard is the 5-5-5 rule. 5 hours at room temp - 5 days in the refrigerator - 5 months in the freezer. I used this one because my husband said it was easier to remember 🤣 plus he never wanted to risk sleeping in the dog house for wasting milk and/or waking me up to ask! Most common is 8 hours room temp - 7 days in the fridge - and 12 months in deep freezer or 6 months in back of regular freezer. Either way, I think you're safe mama!
