We did the Ferber Method (although we never waited longer than 10 mins to check on him and soothe him)
Not for everyone, but sleep training changed our lives for the better. He used to wake up every 1-2 hours and he now sleeps from 6:30pm to 6:30am, naps like a champ, and we’re all in such better moods!

I tried it went my first when she was 8 months old.... it did not work. Actually it made it worse because she would freak out anytime you set her down to sleep after it, let she was afraid.

My husband and I tried it the other night but I just didn’t like it. He falls asleep if I’m there sitting beside the crib so I think we will try the chair method
