So I kinda want a baby. Like reallly bad. The problem is I’m only 18. And idk if I should but I feel ready but also my parents would like murder me (figuratively speaking )

We’re the same age and babies are cool and all, but we have a lot of life to live before kids, plus you need to make sure you’re 100% independent and you know you can provide for the child. I think it’s cruel to have a baby just because you want one, then live with the stress of looking after it and leaving the responsibilities to your parents. Maybe try and get a babysitting job or work in a nursery??

I’m 19 me and my boyfriend are actually trying for a baby right now and it is a rough journey if you can handle heartbreak every time you see a negative test and you don’t have the means to financially support a baby don’t do it! I’ve been living on my own for quite awhile now and we have all our bills under control! You have to be emotionally ready and financially ready for the most part! If you’re living with parents I would say your not ready. It’s very hard to accept that people are going to be mad at you. My parents don’t even know I’m trying but I know if they did they definitely would not support me decision but they would try to help as much as they could.

I totally understand where you are coming from but I would say wait until u can financially and physically support yourself, with your own place to live, and a support system because doing that without a support system would be super difficult.

If I was you I’d wait. I wish I had. I don’t regret the baby but I regret being so young. Try getting into baby sitting.
