at what point do they admit you to the hospital for dilation? do you always have to be in active labor? the reason i ask is because last wednesday i was 3, almost 4cm dilated. i feel as though i’ve been dilating more because i’ve been losing huge chunks of my mucus plug. i have an appointment tomorrow. if she checks me and i’ve reached 5cm, will she admit me? or do i have to be having contractions to be admitted?
