Eyelash extensions and TIPPING??

Are you suppose to tip for eyelash extensions? They are already exspensive and paying a high amount for service so is tipping necessary? I pay for tip when going out to eat but for beauty is that diff?

Yes it is. Keep in mind those who work in the beauty industry either work commission or booth rent. With commission they are only receiving a percentage of the total cost of the service and with booth rent, you have cost of rent plus supplies, such as glue, the lashes, sanitizing supplies, color, heating tools, and whatever else they need. They spend a good amount of money for their education in school and beyond school. Tipping is nice and it’s what helps stylists actually build their business. They depend on them just like a waitress does.
