Did the stretch and sweep send you into labor?

Thanks for responding to the poll ladies. I had a stretch and sweep this morning st 3cm dilated and it put me into labor this evening! Just had my baby girl!

It worked for my best friend literally within minutes. But she was over due and was stuck at 3 cms for like a week when she finally said yes to them doing it. She had enough time to go home grab her bag and get to the hospital. She lives five minutes from the midwifes office and another five from the hospital.

Yes. I went into labor and had her that night.

No but was partially what gave me an infection though.
