I found out Tuesday I had a Mmc. I should’ve been 7.5 weeks but baby stopped growing at about 6 weeks and no hb. I cannot bear to wait for it to pass naturally. I met with my OB yesterday hoping to schedule a d&c, but after a lot of discussion decided to try Cytotec. I took a dose this morning and have started cramping/bleeding. Hoping and 🙏 it all passes or I can repeat the dose in the morning. I have a f/u US to check Tuesday. My dr said he’d probably have me take the Cytotec before a d&c anyway because this early my cervix would be difficult to dilate so opted to just to do first to try and avoid the risks of surgery/anesthesia/etc. but if this doesn’t work I’d have to have a d&c anyway, but he said it would be easier. He said d&c isn’t always 100% effective either. Some people prefer the pill, some people just a d&c. It’s so hard. Best of luck to you and I am sorry for your loss 😘

I’ve passed 5-6 weeks before and had a chemical around 4 weeks. This is the farthest I have been and just looking for advice, experience, anything.
