Dressing stress 😩

I don’t know if this is just a typical baby thing or not..

Pretty much since day 1 my little one has hated getting dressed. Usually she just cries and whinges, other times she’s absolutely hysterical, tears flowing etc and I have to stop several times to comfort her.

I’ve tried distracting her, singing, talking, swapping rooms, warming clothes and putting teething gel on the dummy etc. I know we are gentle as we have been since day 1 due to her breaking her collar bone during the birth. She’s had physio for that and all looks well and it doesn’t look to be specifically one arm that causes the crying anyway.

Is anyone else’s baby like this?

It’s making me dread dressing her, she’s like it whether it’s me or anyone else. I mentioned it to my health visitor and she saw her have a little cry as I dressed her after weighing but not to the extremes we can get to.

I’ve got appointments next week for her shoulder and also another one for her hip (hip dysplasia) so I have two separate consultants I can turn to but I don’t know if I will look silly if this is something most babies do?
