Hey ladies!
So my MIL hates it when I wear heels( 3 inch heels) I only wear heels for an occasion. 
She keeps going on how I could easily fall and hurt the baby. I get annoyed as she even calls me to tell me that her niece doesn’t wear heels as she’s pregnant! I hate when she compares me to other moms!
She keeps nagging. Now I’m scared to even wear heels when I’m around her for an occasion. I know she will tell me again. I need a good enough respond that will maybe stop her from asking me again! 😭please help me out lol

Most women stop wearing heels by the end of pregnancy only because their feet swell up and you can’t fit in them anymore lol Nothing to do with falling?? That is so silly.

I would continue wearing heels around her and next time she makes a comment you kindly tell her to mind her own business as it’s your body and your baby. You appreciate her concern but it’s not necessary and nor is her constant comparing. If she continues to make comments then I would stop bringing myself around her until she can learn to respect me

This would drive me crazy and I would be so tempted to be absolutely completely honest with her. 
That actually you can manage to walk in heels and hold your baby at the same time. Hundreds of women probably do it every day. And that you do not need the stress of worrying about your shoes, and being judged on what you wear.

She’s completely wrong but I would go about it kindly. Tell her you appreciate her concern but she is making you feel bad for wearing heels and ask her to please stop. Let her know you would never do anything to put your baby at risk. Hopefully that will be enough to embarrass her and she’ll stop.
