Is 5-6 DPO too early to start testing ? What’s the earliest any of you beautiful ladies have tested positive ?

Too early. I personally wouldn't test unless I'm actually late but if you want to start, I'd say from 10dpo at the earliest with the understanding that if it's a successful cycle, you might not see a positive until your period is actually due.

Do not test before 14 dpo. Unless you have crazy symptoms like nausea vomiting insane one sided cramps fatigue dizziness and acid reflux by 10 dpo. I would then just test to check if I am pregnant and nor just sick with some bug.
