When is it acceptable to make an ER trip?

Hello! I'm almost 7 weeks Ive been feeling oretty crampy today and have had a little milky/clear discharge today. I just went to the bathroom and there was a tinge of blood on the paper. I haven't had my ultrasound yet, its not until March 13th. Im just sick to my stomach. I dont want to waste the ER's time and resources, just wondering when its acceptable to go in?

Unless you're having significant amounts of bright red blood and painful cramps, I would save yourself that expensive night out.
It can be normal to have discharge and occasional spotting.

I had a Mc in Nov.  I called the nurse on call when I started heavy bleeding and some moderate cramping.  She told me not to come to the ER unless I was in severe pain or soaking through a pad in an hour, so I never went.  She told me to schedule an appointment the next morning though, and I had everything confirmed at the clinic.  I hope that helps...calling and talking to someone might be a good idea if you’re still worried though.

I had a missed miscarriage in September. I had bleeding (not just spotting) but no cramps. Went to the ER and they confirmed there was no heart beat. I was 7+0 weeks along. 
Call your doctor and consult. They are there for us to ask questions. Good Luck!

If the bleeding gets heavy or red, then go to the hospital.
