How long did you have to wait for AF to return?

I had my EP surgery (without tubal removal) six weeks ago today and I'm still waiting for AF so we can start trying. I know I have PCOS and when my RE did a sonohysterogram (mini-HSG) to make sure my tubes were clear last week she said all's fine but suggested waiting another 3 weeks before intervention. Waiting sucks! I want to start trying agin now ... Anyone else have to wait a really long time and how'd you deal with it?

Five weeks to the day. I just finished my second cycle, and I'm in my fertile window now. Fx!

I took 3 rounds of Provera and had to wait almost 4 months to get mine back. And it was awful. Fyi.. left side tube and ovary removal.

I had my ectopic last year and was given one shot of methotrexate.. I had to wait 6 months until we could even think about trying again:/ AF didn't return to normal until about 5 weeks after.. I just got pregnant last month (normally) and then I miscarried. Now I have zero patience in waiting to try again so I hear where ur at. Hope next time around goes well for you! This waiting game is terrible!

I had an eptopic in 5 march 2014 I had my first cycle April 8th 2014. I did have my tube removed so i waited 3cycles before trying again. I think even if you feel you can try again you will always be worried its a very scary thing. I'm trying again now have been since I could but I think when I finally get my positive i will be worried till I know every thing is in its right place.

I had my ectopic on nov 13,2013 & gotten period the next month.

My period came three days after my surgery (my tube was removed), however I was not emotionally ready to try again for a few months.
