I nurse on demand, which is typically every 2.5hrs during the day. At night she’ll go 630pm until 1/2am normally, occasionally 3/4am. Daycare will kinda get her on a schedule once she starts soon at 13wks.

My daughter typically eats about every 3 hours during the day, +/- a half hour. She doesn’t typically show many hunger cues, she tends to go from sleeping to screaming for her bottle. She gets 4 oz of breast milk at each feeding.

My mother in law keeps telling me to train my 12 week old to eat every 3 hours.... I told her he eats on demand and I don’t deny him when he’s hungry, especially since I both breastfeed and supplement with formula.

Is your baby finishing those 6pm & 8pm bottles? is a lot of milk!

You can’t really time when they are hungry so try more of a measuring how much is eaten at a time to see how your baby likes to eat through out the day

I have twins, life would be impossible if we didn't schedule. We still have a range though so if they eat at 8am then we say they'll eat next between 11am and Noon (every 3 to 4 hours based on cries)

I love the concept, can it be done well without bottle? Or is it more successful with bottles? I EBF right now
