Debt collectors

Alright! Debt question - I have a list of debts that need to be paid that are already on my credit report. I just spoke to a debt collection agency about a debt from the ER in my town, which is an odd amount. 870.94, but one of the amounts on my credit is 974$ for a trip to the same ER, different debt collector.

I remember going to the ER one time, refusing treatment because they fucking sucked ass and poked me 800 times with a needle to try and take my blood. I looked like a damn heroin addict by the time I left. That’s the 974$ bill. I do NOT remember going to the ER the second time, for the 870$ bill. Is there a way I can find out if this debt is accurate or not? I don’t have any paper records, they’re probably all in a landfill somewhere....
