Just a little vent!

So I have to vent, I’m 19+1 but will be induced anywhere between 32-27 weeks due to my crazy amounts of autoimmune issues/antibodies.

I posted this photo as a conversation starter in a July 2020 Fb group and one comment just made rubbed me the wrong way

The part that got me going is she said “why would you even do this”.

Okay clearly she’s not as OCD and as much of an over preparer as I am but that’s not really what worked me up. It’s the fact that that comment was so ignorant because you NEVER know what storms people have endured

A lot of these items are from before we miscarried our last daughter. After 1.5 years of more losses/secondary infertility/being told I couldn’t carry again we decided on adoption so I bought A LOT when we started the process so that I would be READY if a baby was to be placed with me urgently. Those points and the fact that I will not deliver at full term for the health of myself and my daughter.

Not to mention if I’m in a position to buy things and it’s what I want to do then who cares? Anyway my very long point is I can not stand ignorance. You don’t know what a person has gone through nor should they have to feel like they need to explain themselves. pregnancy is supposed to be exciting (in our case it’s just downright scary and I just wanted to celebrate my miracle baby a little) 😩 end rant.
