Worst hospital visit! 38 weeks!!!!

I am almost 38 weeks pregnant and have been in And out of the hospital for preterm labor since December.

So This past week I was in the hospital twice due to contractions that were really close together for 3 hours and then eventually got more spread apart after being put on fluids. last Friday I was told by my OB that I was 3 cm and she sent me to the hospital because my contractions were so close together and this last time I went into the hospital for my Contractions the nurse there told me I was only 1 cm then while trying to put me on an IV SHE couldn’t get my IV in right and my vein blew up and I had a huge ball on my hand. I don’t understand how this is possible for my cervix to get smaller after being a 3. At this point I was frustrated I asked for a another check from a different nurse and I was told I could not because nothing changed. I was told I was dehydrated which I came home drank 2 pitchers of 32 ounce of water. And still drinking all the water my body can take. I’m still waking up with horrible cramps and contractions and also brown discharge. I’m tired of being sent home has anybody else experienced this before.
