Ectopic pregnancy???

I am 5w 5d pregnant with baby #3 & today I woke up with super sharp pain in my bottom left belly/ abdomen area. I’ve been reading on google, I know terrible but could I be experiencing an ectopic pregnancy???

Watch for shoulder pain. My ectopic passed on it's own but I was bleeding internally in my diaphragm and it was very hard to breathe. By that point I was already admitted into the hospital. Took 3 days before I could go home. I had a dull ache in my ovary area prior to that and it progressively got worse over a few days. I was bent over couldn't walk. I was about 5.5 weeks. I was given the methotrexate shot and they saved my tube. Currently 33.5 weeks now.

No. This is not the case all the time. Google will always have your nerves bad especially if you don't know for sure. You can't self diagnose. & once you are pregnant you'll form a cyst from the ovary that you ovulate from which will connect your baby and cause some pain and cramping but will later go away around 12 weeks as the placenta starts to take over. Mine was on my left side too and the ultrasound tech explained this to me. I only went to the ER that night cause I was spotting red.

One sided pain (left or right) is a symptom of ectopic. I would get checked just to be safe

I had an ectopic pregnancy 2 years ago. The pain was the worse pain ever! It felt like my left side and hip were on fire, felt worse when i made sudden movements. It kind a felt like i had to go to the bathroom but couldn’t go. If wouldn’t hurt to get checked out...just in case.

I’ve heard with ectopic pregnancies the pain is more so on the right & what you’re describing sounds normal during pregnancy but if you are worried it wouldn’t hurt to call your doctor and see what they have to say!
