Marriage license?

Our minister was not very thorough on this. He just said something about going tomorrow to get it registered then I'll get something in the mail? It's been 4 days since we've married. How long does it take to get the registered license in the mail? Then after I get that. What are the next steps that I need to do? I opted for a name change but not sure where to go from here. Thanks so much!

When I got married, I had to request documentation from the court house. I had to go up there and pick it up. It took around 10 days for everything to be ready. I also had to pay a fee for our marriage certificate.

I didn't get my marriage license back until a week in the mail. I'd call the court house to make sure he signed them and took it in to be filed.

You shouldve gotten the license in 2 days tops. Your county clerk office can do signings as well.
For your name change you have to get a new ssc. For that you just have to Google where you get a new one and what you'll need. A new ssc is similar to getting your drivers license.
