I can’t trust him! 🧟‍♀️😴🥱

I can’t trust him! And I’m literally losing sleep over it! My LO is stressing me out here!

My LO is loving to roll over from back to belly. And even though he’s been able to roll from belly to back since he was 2months old, he’s decided he’s over it. So he’ll flip from his back to belly, but then not the other way back when he’s decided he’s done with tummy time. Instead of flipping back to his back he’ll plop face down and SCREAM. 🤣 I laugh because it’s like 0 to 100 in an instant. He will not turn his head to the side (even though he has awesome head control).

But I’m not laughing at night, when he’ll plant his face into his mattress and scream. I am so scared that it will be too muffled for me to hear it if I’m asleep (it is quite muffled, I’ve been awake to hear it... because I don’t trust him I’m staying awake at night).

I’ve tried not immediately jumping up to help him (during play time) when he flips over and screams, but is there any way to encourage him to flip himself over. (I thought if he got impatient enough he’d just do it himself, but he just won’t!)
