prayers..
my mom flew in from Texas on Tuesday and started feeling very dizzy on the plane. it wouldn't go away so I took her to the ER on Wednesday afternoon. She's had several tests including an MRI and an ultrasound on her neck. we've been told different things, but today the dr said the clot they discovered in her neck is in a vein and not an artery and therefore did not cause the stroke.
he also said she's actually had several little strokes.
ordering an ultrasound on her heart tomorrow, and she will also see a neurologist.
she's also seeing a physical therapist to help her with the dizziness... idk why they're doing this because dr said the strokes are the cause of the dizziness... I hope that means when they figure out what's causing the strokes, they can fix it and then she won't be dizzy, but idk..
they can't give her a blood thinner because she has diabetic retinopathy..I'm really worried and stressed about my mom, so prayers are appreciated. thank you all so much!
