Is 27 weeks a viable age?

I’m experiencing pains and all the normal mumma stuff but I do wonder if 27 weeks is actually a safe zone? 
I have been told people with Hyperemesis can sometimes have babies earlier due to the complications?

Baby has like 90% chance of survival. Will be in nicu and probably need help breathing and eating. 
But 90%!

Yes. The age of viability was moved down to 22-23 weeks I believe. That’s the youngest known age baby’s can potentially survive with medical intervention. 27 weeks is very likely to survive. The issue would be the lungs at that point, but generally the other organs are developed by then. They will probably watch the heart as well too though to be safe.
